Google Analytics

Is a free service offered by Google which generates detailed statistics about the visitors of your website. You can add Google Analytics service easily to your website by adding simple tracking code to your html files. The tracking code looks like this:

This tracking code you get from Google. You place the same piece of code into the HEAD section of all html file. Every time you log into your analytic account it shows you for example how many visitors came from which country.

In order to use this free service you have to register at www.google.com/analytics. If you want to use this service in connection with WorkplaceX Website Builder you place the tracking code into the template.

Google Webmaster Tools

Is a free service offered by Google for webmasters. With this service it is for example possible to see when google bot accessed and indexed my site last time. Crawl rate can also be changed. Further a built in tool can help to generate robots.txt files with correct syntax. You can register for a webmasters account here: www.google.com/webmasters

Google AdSense

Is a free service. With AdSense you can post easily advertisements on your website. You will get some html code that looks like this:

This code you place on your html file. It will generate advertisements that look for example like this:

If somebody clicks the advertisement on your page, you get a couple of million dollars. Well cents :-) And of course you are not allowed to click it yourself. Registering for an AdSense account you can here: www.google.com/adsense
